Commentary

A case of mistaken identity pressures an Israeli scholar to accept an award that was actually intended for his son. This sets off a series of events that begs the question as to what success really means, and how we perceive achievements versus failures. The feel is somewhat satirical and biting, but the underlying conflict between father and son—that is, a fundamental difference in outlook on life — runs rather deep.
