An aging female comic (Jeanne Smart) is in danger of getting kicked off of the Vegas Strip, and so her desperate agent teams her up with a Gen-Z comedy writer (Hannah Einbeinder) who has problems of her own. The two leads have wonderful chemistry, and there is plenty of poignancy along with sharp wit. This author recommends Seasons One and Two only.
