Beautifully crafted ensemble piece in which an unexpected late-in-life romance brings two very different families on a collision course with one another. Very British, but the tragicomic flavor and brilliant characterizations make these characters feel like family after a while. Nicola Walker and Sarah Lancaster shine as Gillian and Caroline, but the entire cast is excellent, as is the writing and characterizations.
