Commentary

Most people are daunted by economics. Heather McGhee has done us all a favor by writing a book about economics which is highly readable and challenging at the same time. McGhee demonstrates the great lengths to which white America will go so as not to share public resources with people of color. She then makes a case for an alternative vision where “the sum of us” is greater than its parts. Rigorous, thoughtful, stimulating, and increasingly relevant.
