Eleanor Davis tells us at the outset that she went on a cross-country bike ride because, among other things, she wasn’t sure she wanted to live. This book is a collection of sketches that she did while on her journey. Her challenges of doing something physically demanding, struggling with self-esteem, and also dealing with other strange humans are all incredibly relatable. Many literal and figurative ups and downs, all of which adds up to a moving adventure.
